The world-famous red tabasco sauce is the one and only original produced by McIlhenny. Since its invention in 1868, it has been made using the same recipe. Tabasco® Sauce enriches all kinds of dishes, adding more pep and flavour. It sets itself apart from all other chili sauces thanks to its three year-long storage in white oak barrels and its three simple and natural ingredients (vinegar, tabasco chilies and Avery Island salt). What’s more, this red tabasco sauce doesn’t contain any fat or calories, nor does it have any food colourings or preservatives and it only has 20-25% as much salt as other chili sauces.
